My favorite problem solving project we did was the object art one. We had to go outside and use natural materials to create some art. I made a piece called no crying in baseball.
My second favorite project we did last week was one of the group projects. I chose the Rube Goldburg project because I liked my team, I think we did a great job and honestly the activity was really fun.
Final Project: My Limitation
My limitation for this project had a couple of steps so i'm going to break it down right here right now. The first part of the limitation was you are given a set amount of sawdust and you must draw with it. The second limitation is you are given 2 wood chips a large one and a small one and you can only use the to move/ draw with the dust. You may be curious why I'm saying you well that's because I wasn't the only person who made a drawing with the sawdust, several other people did.
Artists Solve Problems: Final Project
So the problem i solved with this project was getting other people to do it for me. I also made a picture out of the sawdust and I spent those countless class periods sawing wood to collect the dust as well. In order from left to right: The First picture was drawn by Mr. Sands' and most people thought it was a Zonkey. The second picture was Sadie's and she made a diamond. The third was mine and I made a hot air balloon with a shooting star in the background. The fourth one was Angela's and she made a skull. The fifth picture was Sebastian's and he made a spider. The sixth picture was Rachel's and she drew a W for Wendy's. The seventh drawing was done by Vincent and he made an eye. The last one was Ms. Purtee's and she drew a "Minimalist portrait of Harry Potter".
I have to say, I wasn't sure where you were going with this project but in the end you really pulled it off. You should make a poster out of the different photos. we could have it blown up and hang it on the wall!
