When starting this project I was honestly intimidated. I have a few skills and I have never considered art to be one of them. When the project was assigned I was really into the game Tetris, my high score broke 1.3 million, most lines being 661, and that game lasted for exactly one hour. Granted this was at my prime, I was literally seeing Tetris blocks when I closed my eyes it's called the Tertris effect. As I was brainstorming, for the project, Ms. Purtee overheard and suggested that I do something with Tetris (I would constantly talk about and play the game during class). At first I was going to get an old school Tetris game on a game boy and just draw what the screen looked like. Later that night I was browsing through pictures of Tetris on the internet. I found a building with Tetris blocks in the windows and instantly knew that was the one. I started the next day in class and couldn't find the vanishing point for the building, Mr. Sands was walking around the class giving silent critics and came over to my table sat down and showed me how to find the vanishing point. Past then it was pretty much smooth sailing, up to when I was drawing the windows for the building. I realized that I used too small of paper and drew my lines too dark. There wasn't enough room for the eraser to fit so when erasing I would have to basically redraw a whole section. I figured out the best way to do it through trial and error and finished by the deadline.
